Notice at Collection (Corporate Website)
  • We collect: (a) details you provide in emails/forms; (b) server logs; and (c) optional analytics/measurement data (if enabled by consent).
  • SeaBird Taylon (security/anti-abuse): records IP, user agent, page path & query, referrer host only, dwell/scroll %, and session/navigation IDs. It is GPC-aware and uses cookies only when GPC is not present.
  • We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. See Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
  • Purposes: site operation/security, responding to inquiries, and (if enabled) measuring site performance.
  • Social media icons: Static links only; no social pixels/SDKs load on seabird.biz. Clicking an icon may send referrer info to the destination platform.
  • Sensitive data: we do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information on this site.
  • Retention: security/server logs and Taylon telemetry typically 30–90 days (aggregated/de-identified thereafter); GA4 (if enabled) up to 14 months or a shorter configured window.
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC): We honor the GPC signal; when present, non-essential analytics stay off.

1) Scope & Who We Are

SeaBird Solutions, LLC ("SeaBird," "we," "us," or "our") operates the corporate website at seabird.biz (the "Site"). This notice describes how we handle personal information on the Site only. Product/app privacy practices are described in the privacy policies posted on those product sites.

Corporate / product separation: This Site does not offer account creation, subscriptions, or payments. Those activities, if applicable, occur only on the relevant product site (e.g., seabirdbudgeting.com; concentration.seabird.biz). We do not store payment card details on this Site.

2) Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Contact details and message content when you email us or submit a form.
  • Messages, comments, or other content you send to our official social media accounts (e.g., direct messages or public comments). These interactions occur on the platforms themselves and are subject to the platforms’ privacy policies.

Information collected automatically

  • Server/security logs (e.g., IP address, device/OS/browser, pages viewed, timestamps, referrers) for operation and security.
  • SeaBird Taylon (security/anti-abuse): IP address, user agent, page path and query, referrer host only, dwell/scroll percentages, and session/navigation IDs. It is GPC-aware and uses cookies only when GPC is not present. Used solely for security/fraud detection and aggregate site metrics.
  • Cookies or similar technologies:
    • Essential cookies needed to operate the Site.
    • Optional analytics/measurement cookies that run only with your consent where required.
  • Clicks on social icons: If you click a social media icon, the destination platform may receive the referrer URL and may set its own cookies or similar identifiers. We do not control these technologies; see the platform’s privacy notice.

Google Analytics (GA4)

We may use Google Analytics to measure aggregate Site usage. Google may set or read cookies and receive usage data from your browser. Learn more: How Google uses information · Analytics Opt-out Add-on · Ads controls. Non-essential analytics will run only with your consent where required; you can change preferences via the cookie banner (if shown) or the Cookie Preferences link in our footer.

3) How We Use Information

  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide support.
  • Measure and understand Site performance (if analytics are enabled by consent).
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents; comply with legal obligations.

4) Cookies & Consent (GA4 / Consent Mode v2)

On this Site we do not run Google Ads, remarketing, or personalization tags. If analytics are enabled by you, we use Google Analytics (GA4) only for aggregate measurement. We implement Google Consent Mode v2 so that non-essential tags do not read or write cookies unless you opt in. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal; when GPC is present, non-essential analytics remain off.

  • Default: all consent signals are set to denied by default: ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization.
  • If you opt in to analytics: we set analytics_storage='granted'. Ads-related signals remain denied.
  • No social pixels/SDKs on seabird.biz: We do not embed social media tracking pixels, SDKs, or “like/share” widgets on this Site. Static social icons are simple links (see Section 12).
  • Manage preferences: use the Cookie Preferences link in our footer at any time.
  • Examples of GA4 cookies (if you opt in): _ga, _ga_*. These identify sessions and are controlled by Google.

6) How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose limited data to service providers (e.g., hosting, security, analytics) under contracts requiring them to act only on our instructions and protect your information. We may also disclose information to comply with law or protect rights, safety, or the integrity of our services.

Social media platforms: We operate official pages on certain platforms. We may receive aggregate/de-identified engagement metrics (e.g., follower counts, impressions) from those platforms. Your interactions with those platforms are governed by their privacy policies; we do not control their independent collection or use of data.

7) Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, then delete or de-identify it. Typical periods: security/server logs: 30–90 days; SeaBird Taylon telemetry: 30–90 days (aggregated thereafter); Google Analytics (if enabled): up to 14 months (or a shorter configured window).

8) Your Choices & Rights

  • Cookies/consent: Manage preferences via our banner (if shown) or the Cookie Preferences link.
  • Do Not Track vs. GPC: We do not respond to DNT signals. We honor Global Privacy Control as described above.
  • Marketing: We do not conduct marketing via this Site at this time. If that changes, we will provide opt-out controls.
  • Access/Correction/Deletion: Email support@seabird.biz. We will honor requests as required by applicable law.
  • Appeals: If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email; we will explain our final decision and how to contact your regulator where required by law.
  • Platform settings: For social platforms, you can adjust privacy/ads preferences directly within your account on those services.
  • State-specific rights: Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights (e.g., California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Maryland). Contact us to exercise rights where applicable.

9) Security

We employ reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we process on the Site. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

12) Third-Party Links & Social Media

The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please review their notices.

Social media icons & pages

  • Static icons as links: Our pages display icons that link to our official profiles (e.g., LinkedIn, YouTube, GitHub, X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram). These are ordinary hyperlinks. They do not load social media scripts, pixels, or cookies on seabird.biz.
  • When you click an icon: The destination platform may receive the referrer URL (that you came from seabird.biz) and may set its own cookies or similar technologies. Your use of those platforms is governed by their privacy policies and terms.
  • Future embeds/widgets: If we later embed social widgets (e.g., “Like,” “Share,” timeline/video embeds) that load third-party code, we will treat them as non-essential, load them only with consent where required, and update this notice to describe the change.
  • Direct messages & comments: If you contact us via a social platform, we may use the information you provide there to respond. We do not combine those platform interactions with browsing data from seabird.biz for advertising or profiling.
  • Platform privacy resources: See each platform’s privacy notice and settings for controls related to your account.

We may update this notice from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and post the updated version on this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
